Bethesda chief may have teased Indiana Jones 2024 release

Indiana Jones is one of the most well-known characters in the world of cinema and he’s about to crack that whip once more in the video game medium.

The Indiana Jones game was announced back in 2021, but we’ve not heard all that much about the game, other than it being an Xbox exclusive due to Microsoft owning Bethesda. It will also be developed by Wolfenstein studio, MachineGames.

A new Indiana Jones game with an original story is in development from our studio, @MachineGames, and will be executive produced by Todd Howard, in collaboration with @LucasfilmGames. It'll be some time before we have more to reveal, but we’re very excited to share today’s news!

However, as reported by Eurogamer, thanks to the recent FTC count battle with Microsoft over the Activision Blizzard acquisition, Bethesda chief Todd Howard was recently speaking to Esquire and has stated that we will be getting a proper reveal for the Indiana Jones game in 2024. Depending on how early into the year the reveal will take place, it’s likely to be released between 2024 and 2025.

Obviously, we can only speculate as to when the Indiana Jones game will be released, but at least it seems that we’ll be learning more soon. The Indiana Jones game will be released for PC and Xbox Series X|S.
