Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is the follow up to the 2019 reboot, and is a reimagining of the 2009 original, widely considered to be the best entry in the franchise.
The release date was revealed across the official Call of Duty social media pages, with a clip in a shipyard showcasing various pieces of marketing artwork. The artwork featured in the clip includes Captain Price, Soap, Gaz and Alejandro.
