Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 release date announced for November

In one of the worst-kept secrets in recent months, Activision and Infinity Ward have announced the release date for the next Call of Duty entry.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is the follow-up to the 2022 reboot which initially began in 2019. MWIII will of course be a modernised version of Modern Warfare 3 which was released in 2011. Yeah, it’s a little confusing at this point.

It’s been rumoured that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III started life as an expansion to MWII, so it will be interesting to see how in-depth its single-player campaign will be as well as its multiplayer modes. Only time will tell.

At this time we don’t know any official details, but a full reveal will be air-dropping on 17 August when we’ll hopefully learn all the juicy details. However, we do know that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will be released for PC, PlayStation and Xbox on 10 November 2023.
