Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will take up at least 140GB
In recent years, especially during this current console generation, video game download sizes have been on a rapid rise and perhaps none more so than the Call of Duty series.
In its current state, 2022’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II can take up around 200GB on PlayStation 5 and it seems this year’s entry will unfortunately follow that trend.
In a tweet from PlayStation Game Size, itโs been revealed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III on PS5 will be 140GB at launch. Presumably, PC and Xbox will be around the same size. However, this is the download size at launch and as the game receives patches and content updates, that download requirement will only increase in size.
That being said, itโs worth keeping in mind that you can choose to install the campaign and/or multiplayer, Warzone as well as other components. Nonetheless, you may have to receive a sizable chunk of your storage space if youโre looking to pick up Modern Warfare III.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will be released on 10 November for PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
