Capcom Countdown Website Is Teasing An Announcement

Capcom has launched a countdown website that appears to be teasing an announcement to take place next week.
At this time, we have no idea as to what the announcement could be. Given Capcom’s rich back catalogue of games, it could be just about anything. Maybe it will be the rumoured Resident Evil 4 remake or even the RE Village DLC? Though I would love a Code: Veronica or Outbreak remake, that’s not going to happen.
Heck, it could be related to Dead Rising, Dino Crisis, Devil May Cry, Mega Man or even Street Fighter. I could go on.
That being said, all we can do is speculate at this time. Capcom could even be counting down to Resident Evil Re:Verse. Remember that one? I wouldn’t blame you if you’d forgotten all about it.

All will be revealed on Monday, February 21st at 6am UK time/1am ET/10pm PT. However, the countdown does also fall in line with the final day of Capcom’s Pro Tour 2021 season finale. My money is on Street Fighter. Or perhaps Marvel vs Capcom! Ok, I’ll stop now.
Though it is worth keeping in mind that 2022 is the 35th anniversary of the Street Fighter series. So, there is that.
