Dataminer discovers Separate Ways in the Resident Evil 4 remake

A dataminer has discovered evidence of the additional campaign Separate Ways in the Resident Evil 4 remake.

Separate Ways as well as Assignment Ada were additional campaigns in the original version of Resident Evil 4. Well apart from the original GameCube version, as that only had Assignment Ada. All post-versions of RE4 had both additional campaigns.

Thanks to Gosetsu from the RE Wiki Discord, they managed to datamine Resident Evil 4 Remake and find evidence that “The Another Order”, otherwise known as “Separate Ways” exists in the files.

As shared by Twitter user Resident Evil Central, Gosetsu of the RE Wiki Discord did some digging that even Ada Wong would be proud of. The term “The Another Order” was discovered within the files, which is the Japanese name for Separate Ways.

Hopefully, this does mean that Separate Ways is on the way, perhaps even with Assignment Ada. However, it remains to be seen whether this content will be free, as they were both free in the OG RE4. Only time will tell.

What we do know that is free, is the upcoming Mercenaries mode which arrives this Friday 7 April. The Resident Evil 4 remake is out now for PC, PlayStation and Xbox Series X|S.
