Dead Island 2 first expansion arrives next month
After years of delays and multiple developers, Dead Island 2 was finally released earlier this year and it turned out to be a lot of silly fun.
Well, arriving much, much sooner than the main game ever did, the first expansion for Dead Island 2 is on the way and it will arrive as early as next month. The expansion will be available as an individual purchase or at no extra cost to season pass owners.
The expansion entitled Haus invites you to “come and indulge your fetish”, and will take you to a “billionaire’s techno-death cult fights for survival amidst the Zompocalypse.” It all sounds rather lovely.
“Haus is a paragon of a new future, as prophesied by their enigmatic leader Konstantin. Players will battle through Haus with new weapons and cards, as they face legions of zombies intent on their slaughter,” reads the press release from Deep Silver.
As well as bringing a new story and location to Dead Island 2, with the Haus expansion we will also be treated to the following:
- K-ROSSBOW – crafted for precision and lethality, unleash devastating long-range firepower and explode zombified brains with ease
- Hog Roaster – the ultimate ticket to visceral slaying whilst you simultaneously butcher and BBQ zombies
- Dead Islands – to take the weight off your shoulders whilst you smash the undead enemies into oblivion
- 8 New Skill Cards – will embellish the player’s slayer with an expanded arsenal of skills
Dead Island 2: Haus will be released on 2 November for PC (via Epic Games Store), PlayStation and Xbox.
