Deathloop and Dishonored studio is making a Blade game
This will come as welcome news to fans of the Marvel anti-hero, half-human/half-vampire, Eric Brooks aka Blade or the creatures of the night know him as Daywalker. Hopefully, Marvel’s Blade will do much better than Arkane’s other vampire game, Redfall.
Taking place in a quarantined section of Paris, Marvel’s Blade will be a mature, single-player third-person game and considering that it’s being published by Bethesda, a Microsoft-owned company, it’s most likely to be a PC and Xbox Series X|S exclusive.
“As a kid of mixed origins, I felt a special connection to Blade – a hero with a dual heritage himself,” said Dinga Bakaba, Game Director, Arkane Lyon. “The opportunity to put our spin on this character is a dream of mine and a challenge that our team embraces with a passion. We couldn’t be happier to put players in Blade’s boots, as he becomes the champion of my hometown of Paris, one stake at a time.”
At this time, Marvel’s Blade does not have a release date.
