Deathloop is confirmed to be in the same universe as Dishonored

Arkane Lyon has confirmed that Deathloop is officially in the same universe as Dishonored.
I mean, anyone that has played both Dishonored and Deathloop would have suspected as such. However, it’s nice to get the official confirmation nonetheless.
Speaking on the Xbox Podcast, the creative director at Arkane, Dinga Bakaba confirmed that Deathloop is “one of the futures of the Dishonored world.”

Following the Death of the Outsider, a standalone DLC for Dishonored 2, Bakaba said “we envisioned Deathloop to be happening in the future, after Death of the Outsider.” Bakaba also confirmed that easter eggs were hidden in Deathloop such as the logo for the Dunwall Tower.
In my review of Deathloop, I said: “Deathloop is charming, enticing and exhilarating. In 2021, Deathloop may have been the PC and PS5 game of the year for now, and now in 2022, it’s the turn of the Xbox.”
