Desperate for Helldivers 2 petition for Xbox launch
There have been a couple of games that have taken the video game community by storm since the turn of 2024. One is the PC and Xbox title Palworld, and the other is the PC and PlayStation 5 title, Helldivers 2.
While exact numbers for concurrent players for Helldivers 2 can’t be obtained for PlayStation 5, according to SteamDB, well over 400,000 players are exterminating bugs as we speak with fellow Helldivers on PC, at the time of writing.
Helldivers 2 is cross-platform with PC and PlayStation 5, making it a perfect online co-op game. Yet, if Xbox was to get an invite to the party, that would only improve the overall experience of the game, right? Well, unfortunately, there seems to be no indication that Helldivers 2 will be coming to PC but that hasn’t stopped players from rallying the troops to organise a petition via Change.Org that is quickly gathering pace.
As of right now, the “Bring Helldivers 2 to Xbox – Fans Await Thrilling Co-op Action” petition has garnered nearly 40,000 signatures and it’s showing no signs of slowing down.
Will this petition make a difference? Probably not. That being said, it won’t hurt the game in any way. So coming from someone who owns Helldivers 2 on PlayStation 5, I’ll be adding my name to this signature.
