Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons now has a release date this coming July.

Developed by Secret Base, this new take on the iconic Double Dragon series brings this classic into the modern era with pixel art visuals, enhanced gameplay with roguelite mechanics and even more playable characters.

Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons is said to be a: “robust revitalisation of the series’ signature side-scrolling action. With two-player local co-op, the action quadruples as you and a friend clean up the mean streets of NYC. Online co-op is planned as a post-launch update later this year.”

Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons will be released on 27 July 2023 for PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
