From this year, the FIFA football series will be no more. Well, at least by name.

Removing itself from the expensive FIFA licence, the long-lasting football series will soon be known as EA Sports FC. Though it is expected that FIFA will licence out its brand to another developer at some point.

EA Sports FC will still have many of the official teams, players, kits, leagues and more. It will likely be the same game, other than some improvements and maybe some new features. Hopefully, all those details will be revealed soon.

While we wait for those details, it seems that the EA Sports FC release date has leaked. According to reputable leaker billbill-kun on dealabs.com, the rebranded football game will be released on 29 September 2023.

While platforms haven’t been announced, releases for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S are a very safe bet.
