EA has announced that it has signed an exclusive deal with LaLiga going forward with future football releases.

The deal which won’t take place until the start of the 2023/24 season means that all of Spain’s LaLiga as well as its other competitions will be exclusive to the EA brand. It will also include LaLiga’s second-tier division.

The deal is said to be “multi-year” and will include all LaLiga competition naming rights, all football teams, stadiums, broadcast authenticity, logos, fonts, graphics and more.

Furthermore, the deal will also begin alongside the rebranding of EA football series. From the 2023/24 season, EAs FIFA series will be known as EA Sports FC.

This year’s FIFA 23 will be released for PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Google Stadia on September 30th or September 27th for those that pick up the Ultimate Edition.
