Bandai Namco and FromSoftware have revealed the performance and resolution specifications for Elden Ring across all platforms.

With that said, let’s get straight to it and let’s see what we can expect from the PC, PlayStation and Xbox versions of Elden Ring.

PC:

  • Maximum resolution: up to 3840x2160p
  • Framerate: Up to 60FPS
  • HDR: Supported
  • Ray Tracing: Supported (via patch)

PS4 (Base):

  • Maximum resolution: Up to 1920x1080p
  • Framerate: Up to 30FPS
  • HDR: Supported
  • Ray Tracing: Not Supported

PS4 Pro:

  • Maximum resolution: Up to 3200x1800p
  • Framerate: Up to 30FPS
  • HDR: Supported
  • Ray Tracing: Not Supported

PS5:

  • Maximum resolution: Up to 3840x2160p
  • Framerate: Up to 60FPS
  • HDR: Supported
  • Ray Tracing: Supported (via patch)

*PS4 save data can be transferred to the PS5. But PS5 save data cannot be transferred to PS4.

Xbox One/Xbox One S:

  • Maximum resolution: Up to 1600x900p
  • Framerate: Up to 30FPS
  • HDR: Xbox One not supported/Xbox One S supported
  • Ray Tracing: Not supported

Xbox One X:

  • Maximum resolution: Up to 3840x2160p
  • Framerate: Up to 30FPS
  • HDR: Supported
  • Ray Tracing: Not supported

Xbox Series S:

  • Maximum resolution: Up to 2560x1440p
  • Framerate: Up to 60FPS
  • HDR: Supported
  • Ray Tracing: Not supported

Xbox Series X:

  • Maximum resolution: Up to 3840x2160p
  • Framerate: Up to 60FPS
  • HDR: Supported
  • Ray Tracing: Supported (via patch)

*All Xbox versions benefit from Smart Delivery and save data can be transferred between all platforms.

Compatible consoles and 4K HDR-compatible TVs will take advantage of Performance and Resolution modes. Performance mode: “adjusts screen resolution and load balancer to approach 60FPS.” Resolution mode: “load balance functions at fixed max resolution, with a lower limit of 30FPS.
