Epic Games has purchased Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout developer, Mediatonic.

Judging by the blog post from Epic Games Founder and CEO, Tom Sweeney, nothing will change in the immediate future, though the investment will surely help the Fall Guys franchise grow furthermore in the long-term.

“For Fall Guys fans, your gameplay isn’t changing and Epic will continue to invest in making the game a great experience for players across platforms. Your favourite colourful beans will still stumble through the chaos on PC, PlayStation, and soon Nintendo Switch and Xbox.” Said Sweeney in the blog post.

So judging by the words of the Epic Games CEO, the highly requested cross-play might arrive at some point in the near future.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is out now for PC and PS4, and will be coming to Xbox and Nintendo Switch soon.
