Evolve – Xbox One Digital Pre Order Incentive Offers Quick Fix Over Grinding
The job of a pre-order incentive is to tempt you into pre-ordering. Some pre-order incentives might offer extra missions, weapons, attire and so forth. But what if a pre-order incentive was to offer you less grinding and quick access to content that you would normally put hours into unlocking? Well that’s exactly what 2K and Turtle Rock Studios have done with the forthcoming 4v1 multiplayer shooter Evolve.
Most Xbox One owners will know that the Xbox One beta kicks-off this Thursday on the 15th. Evolve is already a game that is gathering much hype, but just to tempt gamers even more, if you digitally pre-order the game on the Xbox Marketplace either before or during the open beta, you will be granted with instant access to the monster Wraith, as well as Hunters Parnell, Abe, Caira and Cabot. By pre-ordering digitally all these characters will not only be available during the beta, but they will also all be unlocked when you access the full game on February 10th.
Obviously I don’t know exactly how many hours of grinding this will save you, but it will save you several hours at least. Is this enough for you to pre-order digitally or are you still going the physical disc route? The open beta is available to all Xbox One owners that have an active Gold subscription. A closed beta will also be taking place for PC and PS4 owners, you can find the details here. Evolve will release for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One on February 10th.
