Ex BioWare writer wants Dragon Age Origins remaster
Ex-Dragon Age writer, David Gaider wants EA to remaster 2009’s Dragon Age: Origins.
“If we’re on a kick remastering games from the aughts, what about Dragon Age Origins?” Gaider tweeted. “Its graphics were behind the curve even at the time of release… Can you imagine it with brand new PS5-era bells and whistles?”

Gaider then went on to say how even with the visual standards of 2014’s Dragon Age: Inquisition, it would still be great to see a remaster of Origins. Gaider also mentions the “shoulders of a linebacker” for the female character, Morrigan. Gaider explained in a later tweet that this was in reference to all character models having the same look.
Even Inquisition-level graphics would be great!
Look, all I want is for Morrigan to not have the shoulders of a linebacker and for the sex scenes to not look like someone bashing marionettes together and shouting “now kiss!”

Did Morrigan still look great in DAO? Sure. Could there have been more body types throughout DA for both sexes, including even broader shoulders? That would have been great, but the modelers and animators were limited by the variety of rigs available. Simply how it was, folks.

Whether or not the Dragon Age series receives the Mass Effect Legendary Edition remaster treatment remains to be seen. However, until then, we have Dragon Age: Dreadwolf to look forward to. Whenever that may be released.
