Fall Guys Relaunches as Crossplay Free-to-Play, Experiences Server Issues
Finally, Fall Guys relaunched as a free-to-play game across multiple platforms. However, its launch has brought forth server issues.
Previously available on PC and PlayStation, Fall Guys was already an immensely popular game show-inspired battle royale. Though player numbers have dwindled in recent months.
Tomorrow we launch Fall Guys: Free for All!
We are SO hyped to go free on all platforms, and to bring you all our best levels yet, biggest collaborations ever, and coolest costumes that we’ve ever made!!

However, launching as an FP2 game across multiple platforms should be the perfect trick to bring in a surge of new players, and that’s exactly what has happened.
Unfortunately, with its surge in popularity, there has been a strain on servers with players struggling to get into a game. I remember when Fall Guys struggled to handle its PS4 launch, so I can only imagine the struggle now.
Thankfully, the folks at Mediatonic are well aware of the server issues and will be working hard to find a fix. Albeit they let us know in a typically quirky kind of way.
we are aware that some players are unable to matchmake right now!
to celebrate our Free for All launch, I baked us a cake, but I dropped it on the servers and now i am cleaning up the frosting from the computery bits
will bake us a new cake though
