It seems that remasters for two of Bethesda’s most beloved RPGs are on the way, that’s at least according to a recent mass leak.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, the chances are that you’ll know about the leaked documents and emails from Microsoft’s recent victory in court with the US market regulator, the FTC over its proposed $68.7 billion takeover of Activision Blizzard.

Some of the details revealed plans for a revised and new-gen Xbox console, a DualSense-inspired controller and much more. However, today, we’ll focus on two bellowed games, because the leaks also suggest that Fallout 3 and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will be getting remasters. In my opinion, two of the best games that both franchises have to offer.

A leaked document was shared on the forum Resetera, it detailed that Fallout 3 would release in 2022 and Oblivion in 2024. Obviously, the Fallout 3 remaster hasn’t been released yet, but that’s not to say that both remasters won’t arrive at a later date.

It’s like that due to Microsoft owning Bethesda the remasters would be released on PC and Xbox, though it would be nice if PlayStation had some of that goodness too, but don’t hold your breath.

Hopefully, now that the cat is out of the proverbial bag, Microsoft and/or Bethesda might make an official announcement in the coming months. As they say, watch this space.
