Finally, Crysis 4 Is Officially In Development

Finally, after more than a decade, Crysis 4 has been officially confirmed to currently be in development. Rejoice!

The last game in the series was Crysis 3 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2013. However, it did get a re-release with the Crysis Trilogy Remastered Collection which is available now for PC as well as current PlayStation and Xbox consoles.

We’re excited to announce the 4th installment in the Crysis series is in development! We’ve a long road ahead of us but we want heroes to join us today to shape the next chapter in the Crysis franchise.

The announcement of Crysis 4 was revealed on the Crytek social media channels. However, with Crysis 4 being in early development, we can expect its release to be at least a couple of years away. However, we have been waiting for over a decade already, so what’s an extra year or two?

Furthermore, no platforms have been detailed. Though it’s probably safe to assume that Crysis 4 will release for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
