Football Manager 2023 will be the first game in the series to come to PlayStation, as well as other platforms.

The Football Manager series has primarily been a PC game. However, in recent years it has been released on mobile devices, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. However, this year the ever-popular management sim is coming to PlayStation 5. Additionally, FM23 Touch will also come to Apple Arcade for the first time too.

Furthermore, Football Manager 2023 on PS5 will also make use of the DualSense controller features. It should be interesting to see how that works.

FM23 marks another significant step forward for the Football Manager series as we debut on two new platforms,” said Sports Interactive’s Studio Director, Miles Jacobson.

He continued: “Fans have been calling for us to produce a PlayStation title for a number of years, so I’m excited for those players to now get the chance to experience the closest thing to being a real football manager.

Our decision to not release a Touch game on iOS or Android in 2021 was a difficult one to take and a disappointing one for some of our fans. This exciting partnership with Apple Arcade allows us to reintroduce a popular title in a way that makes sense for us as a studio and for the wider FM community.

Football Manager has also been one of the most authentic football games out there, even more so with the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League licence.

SEGA and Sports Interactive have also teased that they’ll reveal new features coming to Football Manager 2023 in the coming weeks. As with previous releases, FM23 will also launch on day one on Xbox Game Pass.

Football Manager 2023 in one form or another will be released for PC, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and mobile. Are you looking forward to FM23? Let us know across our social media channels.
