Capcom has detailed the post-launch free DLC arriving via content updates that we can look forward to in Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin.

Below you can find all the details, as well as a new gameplay trailer for the sequel to the Monster Hunter spin-off series:

On July 15th the first post-launch update will add Monster Hunter Rise’s Palamute as a rideable Monstie.

The second post-launch update arrives on August 5th and will introduce the glided Elder Dragon Kulve Taroth (non-rideable) as a new co-op quest. This update will also add Hellblade Glavenus and Boltreaver Astalos as Monsties.

Title Update 3 will arrive in early September and includes Oroshi Kirin, Soulseer Mizutsune, and Elderfrost Gammoth as new Monsties.

Title Update 4 which also arrives later in September adds Deadking Rathalos and Molten Tigrex as new Monstries. This update will also see the return of Kulve Taroth as a co-op quest.

Title Update 5 which arrives in October will see Silver Rathalos and Gold Rathian as new Monstries. Update 5 will also add a “special mysterious monster, who will be part of a highly difficult co-op quest that offers materials for crafting incredibly powerful equipment.”

So, there you have it, that’s just some of the free post-launch content that we can look forward to in Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin when it releases this week for PC and Nintendo Switch on July 9th.
