FromSoftware’s Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice sells over 10 million copies
You may have forgotten about Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, especially as it preceded the release of Elden Ring and Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, but FromSoftware is making sure its presence is known.
Sekiro: Shadow’s Die Twice was published by Activision and released in 2019 with some seeing it as the spiritual successor to the legendary PS1 series, Tenchu. As you can imagine by being a FromSoftware title, a certain high standard is expected and fans were not let down.
So after nearly five years, FromSoftware has announced that Sekiro: Shadow’s Die Twice has hit the sales milestone of over 10 million copies sold which includes both physical and digital units sold. Hopefully following both the commercial and critical success of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, we might one day see its sequel. I’ll have my fingers crossed.
