In the coming weeks, we can expect the character reveals to arrive thick and fast for the upcoming Mortal Kombat 1, a sequel and a reboot to MK11.
The latest character reveal is the returning Gera who we first met in Mortal Kombat 11. Without giving too much away, Gera has been reconstructed by Liu Kang and will bring forth his “unpredictable fighting style reflects his ability to manipulate the flow of time by freezing, rewinding, and replaying it to his advantage, in service of protecting Liu Kang’s vision.”
Mortal Kombat 1 will be released on 19 September 2023 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.
