Gotham Knights – Here’s a Harley Quinn boss battle

Courtesy of IGN First, Gotham Knights gameplay has been released featuring a boss battle with the one and only, Harley Quinn.

The gameplay in question features Nightwing facing off against Harley Quinn and some of her loyal goons. For the most part, I quite enjoyed what I saw. I know there’s been a lot of criticism on Gotham Knight’s visuals and gameplay.

I agree with the visuals, it doesn’t blow me away and for a game that’s PC and new-gen only, I expected a better-looking game. However, I’ve seen far worse. In terms of gameplay, I love the fast and frantic gameplay of the Arkham series.

That being said, it seems that Gotham Knights is trying to be its own game, after all, it is a multiplayer experience that can be played with others. The combat in Gotham Knights looks slower, but I think it’s more of a realistic pace and combat does seem to have some umph.

However, I’m a little puzzled by Harley Quinn. Tara Strong has one of the most iconic voices in all of the entertainment and one of her best roles is Harley Quinn, whether that’s in an animated movie or series, or even the Batman Arkham games.

I could be wrong, but Harley’s voice doesn’t quite sound like Tara Strong and if it isn’t Tara Strong, why is the voice actor trying to sound like her? Why not imprint your own spin? Perhaps this is Tara Strong and I’m a total pleb.
