Has Hideo Kojima Subtly Announced MGSV: The Phantom Pain’s Release Date?

When Kiefer Sutherland spoke about his pride of being a part of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain before introducing Hideo Kojima on to the stage, when the main man himself appeared to announce Metal Gear Online, it seemed that Mr Kojima may have subtly revealed the release date for The Phantom Pain.

Some say he did this by accident, for which I doubt, unless he by chance wore a t-shirt that just so happened to have random numbers on it in Swedish that could very well represent a release date.  Anyone that knows of Kojima’s style will know that he’s either subtly revealed the release date for The Phantom Pain on purpose or he’s just playing us around…again.

Anyway, thanks to an eagled eye viewer on Reddit, when Hideo Kojima took to the stage at The Game Awards, he appeared to wear a t-shirt that read “tjugoandra den sjätte“.   This Swedish text when translated to English reads “twenty-second and sixth”.  So could this mean that The Phantom Pain will release on June 26th?  You can see this for yourself in the video above.

Also if you remember when The Phantom Pain was first revealed, Hideo Kojima came up with the fake Swedish development studio by the name of Moby Dick.  So the pieces are fitting together, unless again, Kojima is just teasing us all over again.
