Hell Is Us Looks Like A Deadly Blend Of Death Stranding And Soulsborne
NACON has announced a new, semi-open world game called Hell is Us. My first impression gives me Death Stranding and Soulsborne vibes.
Developed by Rogue Factor, little is known about Hell is Us, other than the brief announcement CG trailer. However, Hell is Us creative director Jonathan Jacques-Belletête explained: “There’s no need for a detailed quest log or precise waypoint on the map: we want players to feel the thrill of adventure, guided by their feelings and instincts.”
Explore the dark side of human nature as you face a mysterious calamity in @HELLisUSgame, an action-adventure game developed on #UE5 by @TheRogueFactor.
Coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC in 2023.

In terms of what other details we know at this time, the press release for Hell is Us reads:
Hell is Us is a third-person action-adventure game set in a semi-open world where the main character sets out to learn more about his past in a country ravaged by civil war. The almost total self-sufficiency of the country hides a dark secret: the recent appearance of supernatural creatures resembling ancient headstones and monuments in the region.
The citizens call this phenomenon “the Calamity”. Armed with weapons specially forged to fight these monsters, the protagonist must learn how to defeat them and use his equipment wisely.
Hell is Us will release in 2023 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. What are your first impressions of Hell is Us? Let us know across our social media channels.
