Warner Bros. Games and Avalanche Software have released loads of new gameplay for Hogwarts Legacy courtesy of its second showcase event.

The second showcase will get a more in-depth look at the expansive open world outside of Hogwarts Castle, its combat as well as exploring personalisation in the Room of Requirement.

Oh, and we also get a look at some epic broom flight as well as the Dark Arts Battle Arena. Courtesy of the press release, here are the added details of the latest showcase:

In the final video, the player visits the Room of Requirement. The entire space can be personalised and the architecture can be changed as the player conjures objects into the space. Conjurations can be found at Tomes and Scrolls in Hogsmeade or rewarded for completing various activities throughout the game. Utility items like planting pots and brewing stations can also be customised.

Over the course of gameplay, the player will be able to conjure the Loom which can be used to customise and add magical properties to their gear. And finally, the player walks to the Vivarium where beasts are cared for. A Graphorn, Niffler, Kneazle and Mooncalf are revealed.

By petting and feeding a beast, they will give the player the magical ingredients needed to customise and upgrade their gear. A toy chest is also available to play with the beasts and the beasts can be given individual names.

What’s more, Hogwarts Legacy has suffered another delay. However, it’s not for all available formats. Hogwarts Legacy will release for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on February 10th or the 7th if you pick up the Deluxe Edition.

Unfortunately, it will now release on April 4th, 2023 for PS4 and Xbox One, and then for Nintendo Switch on July 25th.
