Here’s Our First Look at GhostWire: Tokyo from Evil Within Developers

So following the very vague reveal for Bethesda’s GhostWire: Tokyo from The Evil Within developer, Tango Gamework’s, we finally got a proper look at the game with a gameplay reveal at the PS5 event.  When it was revealed last year, it was described as a paranormal action game and will revolve around mysterious disappearances in Tokyo and it’s up to you to investigate to find out what has happened, utilising your very own supernatural abilities.

Prior to this gameplay reveal at the PS5 event, being a fan of The Evil Within, I expected to see something scary, though that was quite what we got.  Granted the trailer features ghostly entities, including the typical long-haired Japanese ghost lady, but it didn’t come across as being a particularly eerie game.  Though it certainly intrigued me with its first-person perspective and the gameplay looks like it should be fun.

GhostWire: Tokyo will release for PC and PlayStation 5 in 2021.
