It seems more Dead Space remakes are on the way

It seems that the developers of Motive Studio are open to developing more Dead Space remakes, namely the two sequels.
To be honest, it should come as no surprise that the two following mainline Dead Space games could be getting a remake. For starters, it makes sense and two, why not? That being said, DS3 certainly needs a makeover to shy away from its Michael Bay-esque action horror.

When speaking to British GQ, creative directors of the Dead Space remake, Phil Ducharme and Roman Campos-Oriola were asked what the future holds for the series. “For sure, it’s, it’s a hope that we have,” responded Ducharme. “There’s interest on my side and I think on Roman’s side – you can see his smile – in exploring Dead Space more. There are ideas, that’s for sure.”
In my review of Dead Space for GameByte, I said it’s: “a prime example of how a remake should be done and unfortunately for you, your neighbours will hear you scream.”
Dead Space is out now for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
