It’s a New Day and it’s a New DiRT 5 Next-Gen Gameplay Video
It’s new day, so that means it’s a new next-gen gameplay video from developers Codemasters for the forthcoming DiRT 5. In this latest video, we get our first look at the Rally Cross class, which includes the officially licensed Rallycross vehicles, as were taken to the beautiful country of Italy.
Robert Karp, Development Director of DiRT 5 had this to say on the stunning locations of Italy and the importance of the officially licensed FIA Rallycross vehicles “Italy has proved to be an incredible setting for racing. Carving out routes within a quarry, an abandoned marble mine, and underneath the stunning Ponti di Vara bridges challenged the team, but players will love the experience.” Karp added “Having FIA World Rallycross cars in DIRT 5 was a must, not just for their speed and agility, but their stylish aesthetic, and a perfect fit for a game like ours.”
DiRT 5 will release for PC (via Steam), PS4 and Xbox One on November 6th, and then it will be a launch title (with free next-gen upgrades for last-gen owners) for PS5 and Xbox Series X, followed by a Google Stadia version early 2021.
