It’s official, Konami reveals Silent Hill announcement this week

It’s official, Konami has revealed that a Silent Hill announcement will be taking place later this week.
Confirming all the seemingly endless rumours of a Silent Hill return, which had taken off ever since Konami unceremoniously cancelled Hideo Kojima’s Silent Hills project.
“In your restless dreams, do you see that town?” tweeted the official Silent Hill Twitter account. Which is of course a famous line from Silent Hill 2.

Konami hasn’t announced at the time of writing exactly where the reveal will take place, though keeping an eye on its social media channels is your safest bet. However, we do know that the Silent Hill “transmission” will take place tomorrow at 2pm PT/5pm ET/10pm BST/11pm CEST.
As a lifelong Silent Hill fan, of course, I am excited about this news, However, over recent years, Konami has given us little reason to grant the benefit of the doubt. So, I will be optimistically cautious.
