Last year the Mortal Kombat series made its return and it did not disappoint, achieving high critical acclaim from fans and reviewers alike.

Now, one of the most highly anticipated playable characters is available to purchase in Mortal Kombat 1 with DC’s Peacemaker played by WWE legend and actor, Max offering this likeness and voice to the character. Peacemaker is available now early for those who own the Kombat Pack and will be available for everyone else on 6 March.

What’s more, crossplay is now available across PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. So like me, you have the option of being beaten by even more opponents online. Sadly, crossplay is not available for the Nintendo Switch version of Mortal Kombat 1.

In my review of Mortal Kombat 1 for GAMINGbible, I said: “doesn’t do a lot to push its boundaries and largely plays it safe, but it’s still amongst the best entries in this series. Its campaign continues to set the standard once more for its genre, it looks absolutely gorgeous on Xbox Series X|S and it’s packed full of content that will keep fans entertained for years to come.”
