Kingdom Hearts 4 Has Been Announced With A Glorious Trailer

Square Enix has announced Kingdom Hearts 4 over the weekend with a glorious trailer and fans of the series couldn’t be much more excited!

Kingdom Hearts 4 was announced as part of the series’ 20^th anniversary. Furthermore, Square Enix also revealed that the game is currently in early development.

Now, I won’t talk about what’s in the trailer, because by chance, I’m actually playing through the Kingdom Hearts series now. So, I won’t spoil anything for myself, as well as for you. However, if you’ve already finished KH3, then you can find the press release below with all the juicy details.

In the announcement trailer, Sora makes a triumphant return with an updated look at the beginning of an epic new storyline titled the “Lost Master Arc.” Beginning with Sora facing off in a boss battle against a giant enemy, players are introduced to the Quadratum, a large, expansive city set in a gorgeous, realistic world unlike anything ever seen before in the KINGDOM HEARTS series.

Fans will be excited to see the return of Sora’s well-known companions Donald and Goofy, in addition to the first appearance of Strelitzia, a mysterious new character who appears before Sora in this strange new setting.

At this time, we have no details on platforms or a release window. However, it would perhaps be safe to assume that KH4s release could be a few years away. Additionally, it’s highly likely that this will be a PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S release.
