Layers of Fear remake getting Unreal Engine 5 playable demo this month

The Layers of Fear remake is getting an Unreal Engine 5 playable demo this month.

Developed once more by Bloober Team, the Layers of Fear demo will be available on PC Steam from 22 May 2023. Sadly at this time, there will be no console demo.

Next Monday and throughout the week, we're opening the gates to the dark and madness-filled world of #LayersOfFears. Experience a glimpse of the gameplay with our demo available on #Steam. It's time to face the mystery!

This remake will re-imagine both the original Layers of Fear games as well as the previously released DLC. What’s more, with it being powered by Unreal Engine 5, it will be: “leaning heavily on the game engine to support Ray Tracing, HDR, 4K resolution, as well as a myriad of other visual enhancements which will help make it one of the best-looking horror games in the market.”

Layers of Fear will be released this year for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
