Life Is Strange isn’t even out yet but the developers, DONTNOD, have announced collaboration with Focus Home Interactive which will see them creating an action RPG called VampyrThe Sixth Axis reports that it is set just after the First World War and sees a doctor returning home just as the Spanish flu is gripping Europe.

Whilst caring to a patient he is bitten and, from there, becomes a vampire. The game is being designed to be one with multiple choices in various situations, which will play in to the internal conflict the main character has due to his transformation. DONTNOD were quick to clarify that this is being taken on by a second team and will not be affecting the development of the hotly anticipated Life Is Strange.

It will be interesting to see how the game develops and what art style they go for in-game. Focus Home Interactive have published some sleeper hits over the years, including Blood Bowl, Frogwares Sherlock Holmes franchise and Pix The Cat. Hopefully Vampyr will add to that list.
