Released in 2022, Dying Light 2: Stay Human is a game that has already benefited from a plethora of free content updates from developers Techland. Yet, for anyone familiar with the post-launch support of the original game, this should come as no surprise.

In an exclusive with Game Rant, the massive ‘Firearms’ update that is coming to Dying Light 2 on Thursday, 22 February will be released alongside a new Reloaded Edition of the game. This version of the game will come bundled with its ‘Bloody Ties’ DLC. Which in truth, doesn’t sound much different to the already available Deluxe Edition.

However, it seems that the purpose of this Reloaded Edition is to not only shift a few more copies of the game but to also bring attention to the ‘Firearms’ update as well as all previous content updates. Which is fair game in my opinion.

The article from Game Rant, explains that Dying Light 2 is designed with melee weapons in mind. However, this free content update will now bring an added emphasis on firearms with a whole batch of new guns being added to the game. It also seems that we can expect some new story content to explain the introduction of the new guns. Techland has also teased a surprise for fans of the OG Dying Light as well as improved visuals.

Dying Light 2: Stay Human is out now on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
