Megan Fox stars as the returning Nitara in Mortal Kombat 1

The release of Mortal Kombat 1 is nearly upon us and the hype train is most certainly rolling with the developers at NetherRealm Studios being very generous with a constant flurry of gameplay trailers.

However, the latest gameplay trailer not only reveals the returning Nitara who initially made her underwhelming debut in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance (2002), but we now know that the blood-thirsty ‘Vampire of the Outworld’ will be played by Hollywood star, Megan Fox.

Mortal Kombat 1 will be released on 19 September 2023 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.
