Metal Gear Solid Collection is getting screen filter update soon

The Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vo.1 is about to get one of its best updates yet. Though to be fair, these features really should have been available from the start.

The update in question is 1.4.0, which is already available on PC but will roll out on consoles sometime during January 2024. The update will bring the option to smooth the visuals as well as having the additional optional filters including ‘Pixel Perfect’, ‘16:9’ ratio and ‘CRT’. At the moment it seems that the filters will be exclusive to the original Metal Gear Solid and not the prequels or sequels. All the added details can be found in this Konami blog post.
