The Mortal Kombat series is no stranger to cameo characters from other properties and the upcoming entry will be no exception.

Rumours have been running wild for quite some time, however, Warner Bros. Games and NetherRealm Studios have officially confirmed the Homelander, Peacemaker and Omni-Man will be joining series veterans Takeda and Quan Chi as part of the MK1 Kombat Pack.

The Kombat Pack, essentially the games season pass will be available as a standalone purchase and included in Premium and Collector’s Edition. Moreover, Jean-Claude Van Damme as Johnny Cage will also be included in the Kombat Pack. It’s perhaps also worth keeping in mind that as with the previous two Mortal Kombat games, there will likely be more than one Kombat Pack at some point.

Mortal Kombat 1 will be released on 19 September 2023 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.
