NetherRealm’s executive producer Shaun Himmerick has confirmed some details via his Twitter account for the season pass that will be available for Mortal Kombat X.  The season pass will come with four characters and five skin packs, which brings the total character skins up to fifteen.

While we don’t know which characters will feature in the season pass, nor which skins will be available, Shaun Himmerick stated that some of the skins “are among his favourite in the game,”.  Also according to the season pass description, the season pass will feature “Klassic Kombatants and Iconic Guest Characters.”  So who do you think will be among the iconic guests?  I know its incredibly unlikely, but I have always wanted to see TMNT’s Shredder in a Mortal Kombat game, just image the damage he could inflict with those blades!

Mortal Kombat X will release for the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on April 14th.
