NACON Revolution 5 Pro controller is ‘cutting-edge technology’
Later this month, NACON will release its latest pro controller, this time for the PlayStation 5.
Previously I have reviewed other NACON controllers including the Revolution Revolution Unlimited Pro for the PlayStation 4 and it is a solid controller, so I expect much the same for the PS5 version, if not more.
The Revolution 5 will offer a generous helping of customisation from your analogue sticks, the D-Pad, trigger buttons, button remapping, weight distribution and much more.
According to the press release provided by NACON, the Revolution Pro 5 features:
- Asymmetrical sticks: optimal handling and distinct ergonomics
- Play in wired mode with a detachable 3m cable, or wireless with optimized latency thanks to RF technology.
- Over 10-hour battery life for long gaming sessions without the need to recharge
- Enhanced precision and durability for joysticks and triggers thanks to Hall Effect technology, reducing “joystick drift” (compared with previous Revolution controllers)
- Trigger Blocker: adapt to any in-game situation by customizing the trigger amplitude
- Customisation app (for PC/Mac, coming soon to mobiles): offering more freedom to make your controller unique and adapted to the way you play
- Comprehensive customization: 4 customizable profiles per platform, 3 sets of weights, 3 stick sizes, 3 sets of stick heads, and no fewer than 60 customization options
- Ergonomic shortcuts: choose the action assignment using the buttons on the back of the controller
- Dual Wireless: connect your controller to your console and instantly switch between the console sound and your Bluetooth® audio peripheral
- Premium materials for improved comfort and handling
- On top of all that, the REVOLUTION 5 PRO is compatible with PS5TM/PS4TM/PC* and comes with a storage case.
The NACON Revolution 5 Pro which is available in black or white can be purchased directly via nacongaming.com and will launch at the end of this month. The controller is also PC-compatible.
