Namco Bandai released a teaser trailer for their brand-new IP Ride, which is coming to PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC in spring 2015. Ride, initially revealed by developer Milestone several months ago, will see players racing through tracks based in city, countryside and historical environments and leading away from the traditional motocross or circuit racing. In addition to the trailer, Namco also revealed that there will be 100’s of bikes to choose from and there will be four categories for racing: Superbikes, Supersports, Naked, and Historical bikes.

It seems as though this is a major coup for Milestone, who have developed the recent MotoGP 14 and MXGP games, as they have received the backing of the developers and publishers of the well-respected Ridge Racer franchise. Even judging by the screenshots below, Ride looks stunning. Hopefully this means that Ride can continue the high standard which MotoGP 14 set earlier this year.
