Oopsie, it seems that an actor who played a role in Need for Speed: Most Wanted may have accidentally announced its remake.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted was originally released in 2005 and is not to be confused with the 2012 release. Most Wanted (2005) was the next entry after the two beloved Need for Speed: Underground games from 2003 and 2004, respectively.

In a post shared on Reddit, an image of a tweet from Simone Bailly, who played Officer Turf in the original game was captured before it was swiftly deleted. “Need for Speed: Most Wanted Remake is being released in 2024, LIKE & comment if you want to see Cross (Dean McKenzie) & his partner (Simone Bailly) hunt down the most wanted,” read the tweet.

If a Need for Speed: Most Wanted remake is arriving in 2024, hopefully, we can expect its official reveal at some point this year. Though it’s a shame that publisher EA is seemingly ignoring both Underground games, at least for now.
