New Game Plus isn’t coming to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

]The highly requested new game plus isn’t coming to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Ubisoft has confirmed it.
By now it would have been safe to assume that if Valhalla didn’t have a new game plus already, it’s unlikely to arrive at all. However, that expectation has now been officially confirmed. In a Ubisoft blog post detailing the final piece of post-launch content, the hopes of those wishing to see this feature added to the game have been dashed.

It seems that perhaps due to how the game was designed, implementing a new game plus post-launch perhaps wasn’t as straightforward as some may have expected.
“Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has been built as a unique Assassin’s Creed experience, one that is very different from its predecessors in its structure, offering new ways of engaging with the world and its characters,” said the blog post.

“When investigating the implementation of New Game+, we realised that the game’s depth gave us limited options to make replayability unique and rewarding.”
The post continued: “We understand this news will come as a disappointment; however, we hope that the new content released in the past months, including never-before-seen experiences like Forgotten Saga, has provided an exciting and challenging experience for those seeking more replayable content.”
So, in other words, if you’re yet to finish Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, you might want to ensure that all you’ve wanted to accomplish is achieved in your first playthrough. The final content update for AC: Valhalla will go live next month on December 6th.
