Prince Of Persia: Sands Of Time Remake Has Been Delayed, Again

The Prince of Persia: Sands of Time remake has been delayed, again. Indefinitely, again.
The Prince of Persia: Sands of Time remake was first announced in September 2020. However, in 2021, the Sands of Time remake was then delayed until this year. Unfortunately, the remake has now been delayed indefinitely for a second time.
At this time, the Sands of Time remake has no new release date or release window. Furthermore, the development will now be led by Ubisoft Montreal, the home of the Sands of Time Trilogy.

The remake was initially being developed by Ubisoft Pune and Ubisoft Mumbai, however, that is no longer the case. Instead, Ubisoft Montreal will be building upon the previous studio’s foundations.
No reason for the delay was given, however, I think it’s fair to say that the gameplay we’ve seen for Sands of Time has been very underwhelming and truth be told, I’m surprised this remake hasn’t been cancelled outright. That being said, I’m glad that it still exists, because I’d love to see a fantastic remake of Sands of Time.
