Courtesy of the Capcom Unity blog, they have released new details for Resident Evil Revelations 2 raid mode, along with a gameplay trailer with a rundown of its new features and a batch of new screenshots.  However, let’s address the elephant in the room.  The raid mode will remain offline until the final episode of Resident Evil Revelations 2 is released, however you will be able to access its co-op features offline via some local co-op from the get go.

In total the raid mode will have 15 playable characters including the characters that feature in Revelations 2, as well as series favourites Hunk (unlocked with season pass) and Albert Wesker (both of which come with the disc version), and I’m sure we’ll be treated to a few surprises too.  Each raid mode character will have a set of perks and abilities to choose from, the perks that you use will all depend on that characters levelling up rank.  For example, characters will be able to level up to at least 92.  Weapons will also be upgradable and have various modifiers to take to the battlefield.

After about 2 minutes into the video (shown above), some assuming taunts and “robot” dancing is on display.

Episode one of Resident Evil Revelations 2 will release on February 24th for the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.  The retail disc version will then release March 17th in North America and the 20th for Europe.
