Resident Evil Village Becomes Joint Fastest-Selling Game In The Series

Resident Evil Village has become the joint fastest-selling game in the survival horror series.

As confirmed by Capcom and the latest UK physical chart sales (thanks GamesIndustry.biz), Resident Evil Village had sold over three million copies within its first 4 days of launch.

However, it might surprise you that Resident Evil 6 has also sold a similar number to that of Resident Evil Village, a game that isn’t overwhelmingly loved within the series.

However, with the sales of Resident Evil Village, it now means that the entire series has sold more than 100 million units since the series made its debut in 1996.
