Resident Evil Will Have a Multiplayer Beta, Here’s Some Details

With the announcement that Resident Evil Village is getting a special showcase event next week, it was also announced that there will be a multiplayer beta.

We don’t know what the multiplayer is called and what it will involve just yet.  However according to the beta description we do know that it will be an action game and it will be for between 4 to 6 players.

You can only sign-up for the beta to be played on PS4 and Xbox One.  But it can still be played through PS5 and Xbox Series X|S via backwards compatibility.

If selected for the beta, it will take place during allocated windows between January 27th to January 31st.

Will this mode be something new, separate or tied to Resident Evil Village or will it be Resident Evil: Resistance revamped?  In an extra unlikely turn of events, imagine if it’s Resident Evil: Outbreak!  Only time will tell.
