A recent rumour has claimed that Hogwarts Legacy will be delayed into 2023. Furthermore, it is said to be facing a troubling development.

Following its official reveal in 2020, Hogwarts Legacy, an RPG set in the same universe as the Harry Potter franchise, was then delayed into 2022. So, if the rumours are true, Hogwarts Legacy won’t be releasing in 2022, and we could instead be facing at least another year until it’s finally released.

The rumours are courtesy of former IGN writer Colin Moriarty, now the host of the Sacred Symbol podcast. While Moriarty was very vague on the details, he claimed that he’s heard “behind the scenes that [the] game isn’t coming out this year” and “it’s in some sort of trouble”.

Obviously, we must take all rumours with a pinch of salt, but we’ll keep you updated when or if WB Games makes an official announcement.
